WORKSHOPS

Amira has taught beginner to professionals throughout Michigan, and can come to your location to teach a workshop.

You may choose from two, four, or 6 hours, depending on what you want covered that day.

We can even make a day of it and have a showcase or Hafla afterwards!

Workshop topic ideas include Technique, Choreography, Props, Styles, and more. Amira has a myriad of choreographies "under her belt," and is happy to teach them in a mixed-level format!

PRIVATE & SEMI-PRIVATE GROUP COACHING

Wanting to develop your style, refine your technique, or break past your current dance plateau?  The fastest way to attain your dance goal is to schedule a coaching session with Amira. 

Whether you are a beginner or beyond, you will benefit from Amira's knowledge and patient teaching style.  

Semi-private or private lesson examples include improvisation, blocking, choreography, and performance critique. 

All Dance Coaching sessions will start with a consultation interview.  This will determine where you are currently in your dance journey, where you want to be, and what steps are required to get there. At this point, the approximate number of classes will be ascertained, and then scheduled.

The student(s) will have to cover the cost of travel costs and space rental, unless the class is held in their home or via Zoom. 

All class notes, replays, and music playlists are included.

Semi-Private Dance Coaching

This class format is for groups of three or more. Ideal for troupes preparing for competition or wanting to hone their stage skills.

Tuition for Semi-private lessons is $100/hour with up to 4 students, with an additional $15 per student per hour for groups of 5 or more.

Private Dance Coaching

This is a one-on-one setting with a desired result in mind, such as entering a competition or performing a routine for a special event.

Tuition for currently enrolled students: $60 per hour or $300 for 6 consecutive weekly classes

Tuition for non-students: $75 per hour, or $390 for 6 consecutive weekly classes

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Please give at least 24-hours notice to either cancel or reschedule your private lesson.  There will be NO refunds for missed or late cancellation/rescheduled lessons.

Discontinued Lessons

No refunds will be given after the private lesson package has been purchased.  The balance of unused private lessons may be applied to an appropriate group class, at Amira’s discretion, and must commence with 3 months of the original purchase.

PARTY CLASSES

Princess Parties

Are you looking for something different for your youngster's birthday party? From informal birthdays to conventional corporate events, Amira has taught and performed at parties for both kids and grown-ups! Below you can choose a kid's theme for kids from 7 to 107.

KID PARTY THEMES

+Arabian Princess or Indian Princess:  Choose between a Belly Dance, Masala Bhangra or a Bollywood dance class. 

Options include:

• Bellydance Eyes makeup class

• Jingly Hip Scarves for students to wear

• Bindis for purchase

• Veils for students to use

• Finger Scarves (Masala Bhangra)

+Fairy Princess:  Learn a fun “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” routine.

Options include:

• Fairy Wings for students to wear

• Bubble Wands for participants to play with

• Hair Flowers or crowns for purchase

• Fairy Wands for purchase

+Princess Moana: Polynesian Hula Dance class on the beach or in your back yard!  Learn the “Hukilau” choreography!

Options include:

• Flower Lei for participants to wear

• Flower crowns for purchase

• What is Your Hawaiian Your Name?

SOUND SYSTEM

If there isn't already a sound system in place for the event,  Amira will bring one.

TRAVEL AREA

Amira will perform outside the Kalkaska and Grand Traverse areas.  Travel expenses will be factored into the fee.

CLASS SETTING

Amira is accustomed to dancing in various settings – from living rooms to back yards to large stages. A space of at least 15 feet square is ideal but smaller spaces are workable. Please let Amira know the condition of the floor (hard wood, carpet, concrete, etc.) so that she can plan accordingly.

BASIC 1-HOUR PACKAGES

Up to 10 participants: $150

Between 5-10 participants: $200

Between 10-20 participants: $250

Between 20-30 participants: $350
